This Autumn's hairstyle that has every celeb giving it a go and is 'sweeping' through our feeds...the wavy brush back. We LOVE this hairstyle because it's stunning on all hair lengths and textures. AND, it's being rocked by beauties such as Vanessa Hudgens, Jennifer Lawrence and Chrissy Teigen.

This style has been around for a while but its making its debut this autumn. A common misconception surrounding this look is the fear of looking like a wet dog!  Trust us when we say that is not the case. This is not the same style that graced us this summer...this is not a wet (dog) look style!

Here at The Hair Boutique blog as always, we will be talking you through this look and how you can re create it at home!

To begin with;

1. Comb a medium hold product through wet hair. Mousse for fine to medium hair and gel for thick and curly hair.
   For this stage we would recommend our Curl Up Wave Foam from KMS.
   This enhances waves and gives structure but allows movement alongside anti frizz.
2. Blow dry the hair going backwards in direction away from the face, using a flat brush would be helpful.
3. Once the hair is dry, depending on what look you are going for, either straighten, add wave or curl to your hair for your desired brush back look.
   At this stage we would recommend The Hair Stay Working Hairspray from KMS. This allows you to hold your style but also re work it if need be!
   (For short hair sleek and straight or 'beachy' waves is stunning)
4. Finally, mould the sides into place by either tucking them behind your ears, gripping them or simply brushing them back with the use of gel or hairspray. Use a serum or high shine spray throughout the lengths of the hair.
   Finally the products I recommend for this stage are Creative Texture Mellogoo from Goldwell, this would be perfect for thick curly hair to help control and slick back those sides! And Tame Frizz De-Frizz Oil from KMS. This product is perfect for adding shine and control whilst diminishing frizz for that finishing touch.
